Had 5 children born here, not one problem. The last two we lived two hours away and there were three closer hospitals. Still travel two hours to see our Dr. For yearly check ups. We've had people ask "why don't you go to a doctor that's closer?" I usually respond with " you'll drive two hours to a restaurant because it's "great" but you go to a health care provider because they are close?

The e.r. is unprofessional, and shows no regards for a patients needs. my husband was in a car accident. I had to demand he be seen before we did intake, we were not given any notice of the concerns with his xray, even tho they made an apoinment an apoinment on his behalf with a specialist. The e.r. doctor actually patted his hurt shoulder and said "your just bruised, you'll be fine." They spent 5 minutes chewing him out for refusing a tetanus shot , but gave no follow up directions or discharge information. When he returned for severe pain they treated him like a nuisance, even after we were told on the phone he should be reevaluated if the pain wasn't letting up. I have nothing good to report on the e.r. treatment from intake to discharge, and am filing a complaint after I'm done talking to the administration.

The staff working in the ER were friendly and very helpful. They worked to keep me comfortable and warm while looking at my broken arm. Even working to keep me as steady as possible when moving me from bed to X-Ray machine, to stretcher. They did a wonderful job and kept me informed throughout the process. Thank you!

They also acted like he should take time off work to recoup, but signed a release for him to return to work. Sorry, working folks can't just take time off work and time off from bills.

My husband was very pleased with his care at the hospital. The doctor was very attentive and the nurses were very caring and helpful.

Dealing with the doctor and nurses in the psychiatric ward has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The lack of care and professionalism is profound. Please avoid this part of the hospital at all costs.

*I will edit that my call was returned promptly and I feel my concerns are being addressed.
